Responsabilities: Entry level field engineering position responsible for preparation and adjustment of simple plans, designs, plots, calculations, costs, and bills of materials in accordance with established codes, standards, drawings, or other specifications. May carry out routine technical surveys or inspections and prepare reports. May review completed tasks to ensure construction conforms to design specifications.

Global Level Summary: Entry level field engineering position performing relatively routine tasks using basic knowledge of the principles and practices acquired through extensive academic preparation.

Typical Qualifications:

University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or equivalent trade qualification combined with further relevant training and experience. Experience varies based on education background. Those with degree typically have little to no relevant experience. Those with trade qualifications will generally have 4+ years relative experience.

Communication:

Communicate basic information with peers, stakeholders, and management. Persuasion is limited to articulating and substantiating own point of view to peers and supervisors.

Systems, Processes & Tools:

Basic understanding of systems, processes and tools specifically related to field.
