Continuous Improvement Engineer

Key Competencies:

Experience: 3-5 years leading proyects of countinuous improvement

1. Strong background in continuous improvement, lean six sigma
2. Strong understanding of lean concepts is critical to this role. These concepts include, but are not limited to: Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, GEMBA and Root Cause Analysis
3. Ability to lead, mentor and develop a team
4. Strong understanding of cost drivers.
5. Understanding of PFMEA's, control plans
6. Knowledge in corrective action process
7. Ability to develop a culture that actively engages in continuous improvement and lean practices
8. Influence Skills
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilities:

1. Develop and lead a culture of lean continuous improvement with an emphasis on employee involvement and engagement.
2. Train, engage, and empower our teams in lean concepts and practices and drive the cultural adoption, behavior, design, and execution of a lean culture.
3. Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve KPI's in Quality, Safety, Cost, OEE performance, and other strategic initiatives
4. Effectively lead multidisciplinarie teams
5. Understand processing capabilities and tolerances (plastics).
6. Ability to analyze complex data sets to drive improvements in process and operations
7. Lead process and equipment optimization improvements in through cross functional team
8. Lead or support new equipment specification, design, installation, commissioning, and qualification activities
9. Coordinate and track the monthly strategy deployment activities and initiatives in support of meeting Business Metrics, Annual Improvement Priorities (AIPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
10. Connect projects to P&L Statement.
11. Effectively lead SIM Studies

Sueldo con base a experiencia de 45k a 55k Nominal, fondo de ahorro, vales de despensa, prima vacacional superior a ley, vacaciones de ley, SGMM y seguro de vida.
