Job Description Summary

Leads the day-to-day and month-end accounting activities for corporate entities and certain limited business group activities, maintains the accounting system and processes, and coordinates statutory audits. May direct the work of less experienced team members. University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 6 Years suggested minimum experience.

• Review monthly statutory reports (statutory trial balance, electronic accounting, etc.), following policies and work instructions
• Supervise the job performed by the Statutory team (internal and external consultants)
• Identify and manage any potential improvements to simplify and automate the preparation of financial information
• Professional interaction with other Adient stakeholders on statutory matters , as well as provide guidance on local accounting topics to other members of the organization
• Partner with the Tax team (compliance, customs, transfer pricing), in regular activities and tax planning projects
• Fully support in the compliance of the CFS Policy, approving and preparing LG adjustments in the Region (Mexico, Argentina and Brazil)
• Lead the statutory audits, being a point of contact to ensure adherence to timelines
• Preparation and review the annual bridges accordance with the SoX Control FR-14 AS well as its presentation to management
• Ability to present and drive/lead conversations with higher levels in the organization
