Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.
What your background should look like:
ACTIVITIES:
- Monthly update of the Material Master in Argentina, Colombia and Brazil for the Channel division (data analysis in the corporate platforms to subsequently enter the updated information of each NP in the AMPICS system).
- Register new Part Numbers in AMPICS.
- Apply TE Connectivity procedures and policies in purchasing and inventory management in assigned regions.
- Place and follow up on Intercompany and third party supplier Purchase Orders in a timely manner.
- Manage the shipment of goods in accordance with TE procedures and always looking for the Cost-Benefit for the operations of each region.
- Administration and management of the import process in Colombia
- Inventory control and management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade: Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Industrial Engineer or equivalent.
- Professional Experience: Supply Chain, International Logistics, Inventory Management, International Purchasing, Imports, Data Analysis (advanced Excel, PowerBI), domain of Incorterms and shipping modes, handling-calculation of weights and volumes, knowledge of free trade zone, Customs, International Trade, knowledge in drop-shipments.
- Skills: Empathy, Responsibility, Organization, Ability to work in a team, Analytical, self-regulating.
- Key values and behaviors: Proactivity, service attitude, negotiation skills, handling and analysis of critical situations.
- Languages: English 80% written and spoken.
- Software or systems: SAP, AS400 system (AMPICS), Office (advanced Excel, Power BI).
