Be a part of something truly special! Join the pre-opening team of Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol as Payroll Manager. This expansive property will include 96 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 61 Residences, centrally located in the "tourist corridor" between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo atop the breathtaking Baja California Sur with amazing views of the sea where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. Amenities will include three restaurants, three resort pools, an open-air fitness center, Spa & Spa Garden, and a Clubhouse event facility.

The role of the Payroll Manager
The Payroll Manager primary responsibility is to maintain the hotel's payroll system in order to ensure timely payment of wages according to Four Seasons Hotels policies and procedures and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes laws.

The role of the Payroll Manager
The Payroll Manager primary responsibility is to maintain the hotel's payroll system in order to ensure timely payment of wages according to Four Seasons Hotels policies and procedures and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes laws.
Knowledge and Skills
- College degree equivalent.
- Minimum one to two years experience in related position with Four Seasons or other organization.
- Prior Accounting and local payroll system knowledge.
- Proficient in Spanish language, English is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Understand and is familiar with the quality and service standards of a 5-star luxury hotel.
- Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Shares passion for excellence and provides excitement in everything he/she does.
- Ability to use a variety of hospitality software such as Abrhilsoft, Workday, Sun system, timbrasoft, SUA e IDSE.
- Highest level of integrity and transparency.
- Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations.
- Detail-oriented and works in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
Essential Functions
- Input data from Workday into payroll system only after proper approvals.
- Review, verify and process payroll data for preparation of cheques.
- Review reports from outside payroll service and bring any discrepancies to the attention of the Assistant Director of Finance immediately.
- Conduct payroll audits on each department at least once per year and review any discrepancies from these audits.
- Maintain and file all bi-weekly payroll documentation.
- Prepare cheque requests when necessary for employee deductions or balances for transferred employees.
- Assist in month end process, accruals and payroll journals.
- File/complete garnishment in accordance with local laws.
- Prepare and assist in special audits (Financial Audit, Labor Compliance, etc.).
- Prepare requested reports for Finance and Human Resources departments.
- Ensure payroll register has been reviewed and approved (signed evidence on final page of payroll register) by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance prior to distribution of payroll funds.
- Review and verify payroll data to ensure correct payments are made.
- Ensure payroll taxes are collected, remitted and filed accurately and timely.
