Profile:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business preferred. Additional training or education in supply chain, warehouse management, or related fields is an asset

• English language fluency

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP MM

• Basic knowledge of mining or heavy industrial operations and materials handling, and understanding of health and safety regulations in mining operations

• 3-5 years of experience in inventory management or cycle counting, preferably within the mining, industrial, or heavy equipment sectors

• Strong attention to detail, and analytical, communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory in warehouses, stockyards, and other storage locations within mining operations

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records

• Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely updates and corrections in SAP Materials Management module

• Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for inventory management, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

• Support audits and internal reviews of inventory processes, providing data and reports as needed
