Procurement Sourcing Mgr.
Objective:
Lead and oversee all procurement sourcing activities, ensuring compliance with company regulations and procedures. Manage and cultivate supplier relationships through strategic oversight, including scheduled audits of approved vendors. Direct, coordinate, and optimize the purchasing, selling, and distribution of materials, equipment, machinery, supplies, and services. Provide strategic leadership and guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a customer-centric approach to procurement and supplier management.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, with five (5) years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or project management within a corporate environment preferred.
· Or High School diploma/GED with eight (8) years of relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing, or project management in lieu of a degree.
· Manufacturing experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of industry-specific sourcing and procurement practices.
· Knowledge of D365 software, including database management, inventory tracking, and order processing systems, is preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word for documentation and reporting purposes.
· Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
· Excellent negotiation skills, ensuring optimal contract terms, pricing, and supplier agreements.
· Strong record-keeping skills, maintaining accurate procurement documentation and supplier performance records.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, lead time, and supplier performance.
· Support Engineering, Project Management and Manufacturing to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with company objectives, including but not limited to on time delivery and within project budget.
· Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to drive continuous improvement in procurement efficiency and effectiveness domestically and internationally.
· Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.
· Conduct regular audits and assessments of approved suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
· Direct procurement activities related to materials, equipment, supplies, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions.
· Identify and mitigate potential risks in sourcing and supplier management.
· Establish and maintain procurement policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and ISO standards.
· Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for junior colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
· Coordinate and support procurement activities across regional sites, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and fostering collaboration to optimize sourcing strategies and supplier management.
· Gain proficiency in site, regional, and global procurement software tools, leveraging technology to enhance sourcing efficiency, supplier management, and data-driven decision-making.
· Develop a solid, trusting relationship at Management levels of suppliers aimed at driving strategic value.
· Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
· Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the BBSC Automation Code of Business Conduct.

(Health, Safety, & Environmental):
The Procurement Sourcing Manager is expected to actively support and uphold the company's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies by ensuring workplace safety, compliance, and proactive risk management. Responsibilities include:
· Report any unsafe conditions or acts that may pose a risk to personnel or operations.
· Identify and communicate defects in equipment or protective devices to prevent hazards.
· Attend all required Health, Safety, and Environmental training sessions to stay informed on compliance and best practices.
· Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
· Assist in investigations of accidents, incidents, or near misses when requested, contributing to corrective actions and prevention strategies.
· Ensure employees adhere to established health and safety procedures, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
· Advise employees on potential or existing health and safety risks, providing guidance to mitigate hazards.
· Provide instruction on safe work practices, ensuring personnel understand and follow HSE protocols.
· Enforce compliance with safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all employees, temporary workers, and contractors.
