Job Description
• Supervise daily activities of cycle counting.
• Create a cycle counting plan according ABC indicators.
• Control and ensure inventory accuracy >95% for raw material, indirect and Finished goods.
• Create work instructions of inventory control employees.
• Analyse discrepancies report, create a root cause analysis and develop action plan.
• Process inventory adjustments in SAP based in approval policies.
• Propose improvement actions to avoid inventory discrepancies.
• Analyses inventory levels, production rate and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
• Develop detailed inventory scenarios and identify trends.
• Lead evaluation of on-site inventories.
• Track daily Inventory accuracy and COGI report.
• Audit component consumption versus BOM and implement actions to avoid discrepancies.
• Coordinate annual inventory.
Qualifications
• Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 5 years related experience.
• Requires strong analytical skills, thorough knowledge of inventory processes and strong command over mathematics and statistical tools used in analysis process.
• Must be effective in prioritizing activities and addressing details.
• Must have strong organization and problem-solving skills (PDCA, 8 D's, Ishikawa, Pareto).
• Requires extensive knowledge of typical operations in manufacturing organizations and their dependency on the inventory.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge in SAP (MM and WM).
• Able to use MS, Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
