Be a part of something truly special! Join the pre-opening team of Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol as Wedding and Social Sales Manager. On the stunning southern coast of Mexico's Baja peninsula, experience Cabo's Golden Corridor, ideally located between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. In the heart of all the action, the coveted community of Cabo Del Sol is home to our modern hacienda-style village, with sparkling ocean views throughout. Create magical memories as hearts beat to the rhythm of Mexican music, art and culture - embraced by the warmth of our Four Seasons "familia." This ultra-luxury ocean-front resort will include 96 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 61 Residences, Amenities will include three restaurants, five bars, three pools, an open-air fitness center designed by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, Spa with ten treatment rooms and relaxation oasis, and The Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is perched above the resort with sweeping Ocean views and it is being designed as THE place to host spectular weddings and events for up to 250 people. It will feature and event lawn for ceremonies, an indoor/outdoor ballroom, living room space for entertaining, and a bridal suite.

Based on property at our resort in Mexico or in a key feeder market with strong client base. We will consider adjusting this position to Director of Catering and Events role if someone applies with the right qualifications to both sell weddings and to lead our events team.
The role of the Wedding and Social Sales Manager
The Wedding and Social Sales Manager primary responsibility is secure group wedding, social and celebrations, which include 10 guest rooms or more. Business from the Social Market for events of all sizes, up to and including full resort buy-outs through active and effective promotion, solicitation, and prospecting, while maintaining Four Seasons standards and maximizing revenue/profit potential.

Knowledge and Skills
- College education in Hospitality preferred
- At least 3 years previous experience handling weddings and social market for a luxury resort.
- Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English and Spanish language. Proven interpersonal skills with a track record of successful client interactions
- Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Cvent, Delphi, Internet and Opera
- Coaching and People Development Skills
- Great organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Able to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure
- Knowledge of Delphi Sales and Catering Software
- Independent judgement and discretion on decision making
- Ability to travel as needed to prospect and secure business for the hotel
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed to work with clients and events
Essential Functions
- Able to Travel often for client entertainment and execution of key events.
- Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable business and achieving Sales Goals
- Conduct property tours and entertain planners of social events, weddings and homeowner events.
- Coordinate the sales efforts between sales department and events to insure proper utilization of event space to yield maximum revenues
- Execute the planning of events after selling
- Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue,
- Ensure satisfaction of client at the outset of all events
- Comply with Four Seasons standards for sales and marketing
- Knowledge of audio-visual equipment, internet and hybrid technology
- Assist Events Team as required
- Assist with all guest inquires within the Sales, Marketing and Events Department, including assistance with high telephone volume and walk-in site inspections
- Be fully versed in the facilities and capabilities of the resorts competitive set
- Assist in developing and executing projects for assigned market areas to increase event activity, volume and profit
- Negotiate, draft, generate and confirm/sign group contracts that ensure hotel budget and revenue targets are achieved
- Identify, select and participate in organizations that will garner positive exposure for resort, increase network of potential clients, and generate new business opportunities. Ideally, manager would have opportunity to serve on a committee or board to demonstrate leadership within the community
- Keep supervisors informed of any and all potential problems so corrective action can be taken where needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct personal behaviour in a mature professional business manner where representing the hotel or company
- Be a sound analyser and problem solver
- Be a do-er and implementer
- Be a team member and assist as needed within department or hotel
- Develop and use good acumen and be a good business operator
- Communicate industry trends or market data as needed to better understand our marketplace and business
- Have a strong attention to detail, monitor quality and be obsessively service oriented
