Procurement Intern

As a Procurement Intern you will perform consumables and backflush analysis to eliminate shortages and impacts on ODB, RCL, Eagle and SmartRack production lines, ensuring timely stock of materials. You will identify and eliminate the root cause of shortages and be in continuous communication with internal customers and external suppliers (domestic and foreign).

Your responsibilities

• Generate report of consumable materials (week).
• Analysis of monthly consumption.
• Review and recalculation of parameters PR, LT, SS, Purchase Multiple (month).
• Follow up to update parameters in system (month).
• Floor routing and interviews with materialmen, manufacturing production supervisors to identify shortages or low inventory levels (daily).
• Running Back Order report (daily).
• Track and/or expedite deliveries with suppliers (daily).
• Tracking of parcel and carrier tracking (daily).
• Follow up with Traffic and Logistics for import and arrival of material (daily).
• Notify Warehouse of material arrival and ensure receipt in SAP (daily).
• Identify cause of consumable shortage (OPQ, inventory adjustment, engineering omission, purchase omission, production damaged material, lack of unloading, increased consumption, etc.) (daily).
• Implement actions to eliminate repetitiveness.
• Follow up on system downloads (daily).

Your background

• Preferably active student of Electrical, Mechanical-Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical-Administrative Engineering.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Power Point/Word) and SAP.
• Problem solving skills, teamwork, effective communication, be proactive and analytical.
• Conversational level of English.
