Overview

This position is responsible to establish and maintain effective employee relations through the uniform and equitable application of organization policies, procedures, and employment law.

Responsibilities

• Duties:•
  
  • Extensive shop floor coverage.
  • Advising supervisors and managers on methods and approaches to resolve employee work problems.
  • Policy interpretation and implementation.
  • Conduct investigations.
  • Oversight of human resources administrative functions.
  • Benefits administrations.
  • Oversight of payroll functions.
  • Recruitment.
  • Facilitation of employee meetings.
  • Training and development of exempt and non-exempt staff.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a human resources-related field, plus a minimum of two years human resources experience in one or more of the following areas, employment, benefits, employee relations, training and development, EEOC, OSHA or FMLA regulations.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts.
• Excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and decision making skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Windows.
