The Senior Game Mathematician reports to the Director of Studio and will be part of a team responsible for the concept, design, production, and testing of slot games.

• Apply programming principles to create game simulations and calculation programs.
• Develop gaming probabilities and payout tables.
• Create production math for proprietary slot machines, traditional math systems for original game titles, and platform conversions.
• Work with software development teams to ensure the correct implementation of game math.
• Design original game play mechanics.
• Provide feedback and direction on game concepts.
• Contribute to the development of game rules and mechanics.
• Collaborate with product management and marketing to understand market trends and develop competitive game innovations.
• Work with artists and sound designers to align assets with the game's vision.
• Review games in all stages of development to ensure quality and adherence to the intended design.

• Work closely with game developers to transform concepts into the game environment.
• Provide the necessary mathematical framework or software to game developers.
• Conduct game simulations to evaluate mathematical properties and ensure balance.
• Create simulation programs based on game concepts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong understanding of spinning reel games of chance (poker/slot games).
• Ability to convert game concepts into a scripting language.
• Proficiency in running PC-based simulations and analyzing data results.
• Ability to work efficiently within a small team and meet tight deadlines.

• Experience in basic statistics and programming languages such as C# and LUA is highly desirable.
• Formal qualifications in computer programming are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience as a game mathematician, game designer, or in a similar role within the gaming industry.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Must have a valid U.S. visa to travel for training sessions.
