Job Description:

LATAM Partners is seeking a high-level WordPress Web Developer to join our team in Guadalajara. You will work remotely for a U.S.-based digital marketing company located in Oregon. We are looking for a creative, technically skilled, and experienced developer with strong knowledge of PHP and WordPress to design, develop, and optimize websites that significantly enhance our clients online presence.

Role and Responsibilities

Custom WordPress Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced, responsive, and visually appealing websites using WordPress.
• Develop and modify custom themes and plugins using PHP.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with design, marketing, and development teams to align website functionality with brand strategies and goals.

Technical Optimization:

• Implement best practices for performance, speed, and user experience optimization.
• Ensure clean code, security best practices, and scalable architecture.

Cross-Platform Compatibility:

• Ensure all websites are mobile-responsive and compatible with major browsers.

Content Management:

• Manage, update, and organize website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

SEO Integration:

• Apply technical and on-page SEO best practices to improve rankings and visibility.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

• Proactively test functionality, fix bugs, and handle technical support when needed.

Additional Technical Requirements

• UI/UX Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, and Figma (or similar prototyping and web layout tools).
• Analytics & Monitoring: Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager. Experience in data analysis is a strong plus.
• Site & Hosting Management: Experience with cPanel, WHM, domain management, DNS configuration, as well as website maintenance, migration, and backup.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience building custom WordPress websites.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO fundamentals and implementation strategies.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with U.S.-based teams.
