About the role
As a Sr. Eng, Mech Engrg ETO, you will play a pivotal role in delivering customized product solutions to our customers. You will analyze customer requirements, establish technical specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient product development. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will be instrumental in driving innovation and meeting stringent regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As a (specify role), you'll be responsible for:
· Requirement Analysis: Analyze and review customer requirements for engineering changes in special orders.
· Technical Specifications: Establish technical product requirements and coordinate with design teams.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with marketing, product managers, and other stakeholders.
· Customized Solutions: Provide innovative design solutions to meet customer-specific needs.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and performance regulations.
· Technical Support: Offer technical information and support to sales, design, and marketing teams.
· Internal Coordination: Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to streamline processes.
· Metrics Tracking: Monitor key metrics such as adder lead time, time response, and cost tracking.
Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
· Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in HVAC applications.
· Strong understanding of electrical and controls systems.
· Proficiency in cost analysis and BOM management.
· Experience working in an engineering-to-order (ETO) environment.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
· Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
· Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
· Project management skills.
· HVAC applications systems
· Electrical & Controls knowledge
· Cost analysis
· BOM management knowledge
· IMA, IME IMC carreers
