We are looking for a Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a maintenance technician responsible for conducting maintenance inspections, diagnostics, and corrective actions on electrical and mechanical systems. He/she supports plant operations through effective troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. All work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, reporting any risks or unsafe conditions.
- Ensure product and process quality by following defined procedures and reporting deviations.
- Perform maintenance tasks in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Follow standard operating and maintenance procedures.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and company assets, and report malfunctions.
- Participate in technical and safety training to enhance knowledge and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized.
- Understand how individual tasks impact overall plant operations.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and identify areas for corrective action.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify root causes of failures and restore equipment functionality.
- Support in the installation, setup, and adjustment of machinery and components.
- Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Use measuring instruments and tools to verify equipment conditions.
- Maintain and follow maintenance schedules and inspection routines.
- Perform basic to intermediate tasks involving PLCs: understanding ladder logic, resetting faults, and minor edits under guidance.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure proper documentation in maintenance systems and contribute to spare parts tracking.
- Operate forklifts or overhead cranes when necessary (with appropriate certification).
- Keep maintenance logs and digital systems updated with accurate information.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering degree (completed).
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Basic to intermediate PLC knowledge (e.g., ladder logic interpretation, fault diagnosis).
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hourly wage ranges from $30 to $35, depending on skills and experience. Overtime is compensated at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.
- Valid tourist visa and passport.
- Advanced English.
- TN Visa holders are welcome.
