Product Designer

Review the work of the Design department. Propose and approve design changes that result in savings in production time and/or material. in production and/or material lead times. Work with other design groups to assist in product development.

Requirements

Academical Background: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electromechanics.

Fluent in english (Advanced level)

Experience:

• Experience in mechanical design.
• Experience in design with Creo.
• Work experience with sheet metal design.
• Experience with GDT
• Ability to interpret mechanical and/or electrical drawings.
• Experience in Electrical Equipment (Low Voltage) desirable.
• Experience with bills of materials (BOM), engineering change orders (ECO) and GDT.
• Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
• Strong ability to interact with engineering and design staff.

Functions:

• Make and approve design changes
• Make changes to Bills of Materials
• Write ECR/ECO
• Able to facilitate interaction between Manufacturing and Design Departments
• Attend meetings with the Customer and Team Leader

Monday to Friday: From 7am to 4:30pm

Hybrid position (1-2 days per week)
