The Infrastructure & Operations Analyst will install, configure, operate and evolve common infrastructure such as servers, coordinates activities globally for Baxter. This includes Intake and vetting of new requirements, periodic reporting and execution of improvement plans for Performance, Compliance, Optimization and Financial aspects of delivering hosting services. The role also performs incident and problem management, including directing break-fix support; assures customers are receiving the appropriate assistance and that the service-level objectives are achieved or exceeded.
This role also may lead IT efforts supporting the business or plays a coordinating role where global IT projects may require multi-functional participation from the business. Is responsible for ensuring the quality delivery and support of infrastructure and ensures consistency to enterprise asset management. The role is responsible for fostering a positive collaborative team environment and must set an example for quality, customer communication. This position is a technical and analytical position and uses overall management practices to lead the matrixed technology platform support personnel

The main purpose of this role is to solve technical issues via a process consistent with ITIL, standard methodologies and scripts.
Coordinate, participate and manage datacenter consolidation activities.
Deployment for AWS Azure and on prem Infrastructure, and other services
P1/P2 infrastructure outages and use vendor escalation point of contacts when necessary
Monitoring of Cloud and on prem infrastructure as services
Review open incidents and request and maintain SLA objectives
Work on IT Projects in an AWS, Azure, and on prems environment and services
Routine DevOps maintenance in AWS and Azure environments
Deliver patching and system performance enhancements to systems
Deliver cost management enhancements to existing AWS and Azure systems
Deployment of new servers and Infrastructure for Datacenters
Provide technical support, performing root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for problem resolution.
Create process and follow existing process, best practices, SOPs, compliance and training requirements. This includes following and using Baxter's change control as well as manage tickets on this platform to ensure effective fault communications and awareness.
May participate in 24x7 on call rotation
Work closely with engineers and testers to identify, document and prioritize solutions that exemplify continuous improvement
Implement reusable, automated solutions to common engineering operations tasks
Implement Continuous Integration solutions that produce a variety of packages and binaries
Implement Continuous Deployment solutions that target development environments
Drive efficiency and standardization in the technologies, tools and techniques used by the team
Identify potential performance bottlenecks in legacy and cloud-native systems
What you'll bring
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Overall experience required: 3-6 years Infrastructure Architecture and/or IT Operations.
Passionate about continuous learning and keeping up with newest technologies
Must be willing to work on a distributed team (Proposed Shift Timing: 1 PM to 10 PM)
1 year of experience with Cloud hosting, AWS or Azure
1 year of experience with Windows/Linux Servers, Vmware, Citrix
Having a worked in a highly motivated, fast-paced, critical support role
Excellent decision making and critical-thinking skills
An ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
Excellent organizational and communication skills are required
Ability to meet deadlines with Projects and Assignments
Ability to learn and support new technologies and train others
Participate in an on-call rotation schedule
Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize, detail oriented and organize work
Must be a self-starter and great teammate
Must have the ability to multi-task
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
