Fiber optic manufacturing company seeks Warehouse Supervisor

Objetive:

1. Handle daily tasks of receiving, shipping, storing, and other storage-related operations to achieve warehouse management goals.

2. Organize the warehouse area, reasonably arrange storage locations, classify materials by zones with clear labeling and accurate quantities.

3. Ensure warehouse safety management by inspecting fire prevention, anti-theft, and temperature/humidity control systems.

4. Be responsible for managing raw materials and finished products, ensuring accuracy and consistency between physical stock, inventory cards, and accounting records.

Required experience:

1. Proficient in Office operations and Excel functions; familiarity with WMS/MES is a plus.

2. Experience in warehouse management, with strong communication, coordination, and managerial skills.

3. Strong awareness of quality and data.

4. Knowledge of material storage practices and general measures for fire prevention, theft protection, corrosion control, and use of firefighting equipment.

Knowledges:

-Knowledge and training in warehouse management, financial management, and on-site operations.

-Has a solid foundation in statistics and a strong sensitivity to numerical data.

Skills

-Strong communication, coordination, and management skills

-Word documents, Excel datasheets, and functions.

-Multilingual (English, Spanish); Chinese is a strong plus.

-Analyzing abnormal data and solving related issues

-Familiar with warehouse inventory accounting and on-site warehouse management

Functions description

-Overall warehouse operations, daily work coordination and management, coordinating tasks between the warehouse and various functional departments.

-Understand production plans and follow up on material preparation plans; responsible for managing material preparation to ensure no material shortage or excess, meeting production plan requirements.

-Maintain awareness of inventory material status to ensure timely material issuance to production, avoiding production delays due to material shortage.

-Coordinate with Purchasing, PMC, group factory warehouses, and business departments to timely obtain shipping, receiving, and delivery information; follow up on work order shortages and ensure order fulfillment.

-Follow up and coordinate the handling of obsolete materials, defective products, and scrap

-Warehouse planning based on material attributes and usage, planning storage space, maintaining system locations, storage positions, and inventory aging.

- Supervise warehouse and workshop WIP materials, conduct regular inventory counts, and submit inventory reports.

- Identify and address issues related to the inbound and outbound movement of materials and finished products, improving processes to ensure consistency among records, inventory, and documentation, as well as the rationality of workflows.

-Implement warehouse 6S management and warehouse safety management.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Availability to meet with Chinese staff in the afternoon.
