Position Overview

This position is Location Free.

We are seeking a Backend Elixir Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our backend systems. As a Backend Elixir Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and product managers, to deliver robust and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Elixir programming language.
2. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Qualifications:

1. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
2. Solid understanding of functional programming concepts.
3. Ability to work as part of an English speaking international team.
4. Familiarity with Web technologies.
5. Familiarity with SQL databases.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Degree in any science and engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience developing backend applications using Elixir programming language.
  • Experience with Elixir frameworks such as Phoenix and Ecto.

The eCommerce (eCom) team promotes PepsiCo products via digital channels.
