Parker Mexico is looking for a: Value stream manager
Position Summary
Responsible for coordinating the areas under their charge to ensure the production
(manufacturing and assembly) of the products in their operation, guaranteeing the quality
and timely delivery of these, ensuring the achievement of the operational and financial
objectives established by the organization
Qualification
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
Experience:
5 years of experience as manager
Control of production the equipment maintenance area or in a similar position.
Languages:
Advanced English / Fluent spoken and written
Essential job duties and responsibilities
- Deploy the Divisional and plant strategy to the managers and area coordinators.
- Design, approve, and monitor the personal performance and development plans of the personnel under your supervision.
- Establish and coordinate action plans for the preparation of manufacturing procedures according to the established standards of the different clients to whom the products are supplied, in order to meet their needs.
- Review, evaluate, and ensure compliance with production and material purchase plans to guarantee fulfillment and satisfaction of demand.
- Monitor the progress of new products from the different Parker client lines to plan materials, production, technology to be used, as well as facility adaptations for their proper operation.
- Design, analyze, and maintain reports of key performance indicators that represent the business performance.
- Propose improvement projects with economic impact aimed at reducing operating costs without compromising quantity and quality. Implement and maintain the methodology of High-Performance Teams for the development of these projects.
- Observe and implement Lean, Kaizen methodologies and initiatives that improve processes and ensure the main objectives of Customer Service, Quality, Profitability, and Inventory.
- Comply with the guidelines and policies issued by corporate headquarters.
- Ensure the application and maintenance of the 5S+1 methodology in your work area and require your staff to carry it out.
