PMO MANAGER
Responsabilities:
The PMO Manager will support development of early-stage strategic initiatives within the company, including the phase of ideation, gathering of market data, furnishing business plans and supporting of the successful execution of projects and programs.
PMO will assist with creation of standardized project management processes, tracking key metrics, providing governance, and offering support to project managers across the organization.
- Develop and implement PMO policies, processes, and templates.
- Preparation of work plan to develop initiatives with Chairman, Monitor and report on project portfolio performance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Act as liaison between Chairman, CEO and various project teams within the company.
- Facilitate project governance processes (e.g., steering committees, gate reviews).
- Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation across projects.
- Maintain and update project dashboards, trackers, and tools.
- Support risk, issue, and change management across the project portfolio.
- Train and mentor project teams on PMO standards and tools.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodology and best practices.
- Act as liaison between Chairman, CEO and various project teams within the company. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
- Desire Project Management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience managing or coordinating projects
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple simultaneous projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Fully Bilingual, Spanish/English
Technical Skills Required:
- Project management (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Lean)
- Project planning tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello)
- Knowledge of agricultural production cycles and best practices
- Data analysis (advanced Excel, Power BI)
- Budgeting and cost analysis
- Risk management in agricultural environments
- SAP Business One and others ERP.
- Database management.

**The position can be directly in San Diego, California, or be in Tijuana for 1 year and then move to San Diego, California**
