Job Purpose

T o manage and undertake effectively the maintenance of machinery and general site repairs.

Job Responsibilities

To provide repair and maintenance of all production machinery i.e. aerosol filling lines, pumps, general electrics to 18th Edition or good knowledge of.
To ensure all general repairs to the offices and premises are undertaken effectively.
To plan and undertake project work as required e.g. alterations to premises.
Maintain good standards of housekeeping in all production and warehouse areas.
Identifying and in consultation with the Manufacturing Site Manager, initiating improvements in the manufacturing plant.
Be responsible for the care and safekeeping of all tools and materials and ensure the security of the engineering store.
Have access to own tool kit to carry out routine repairs.
Be responsible for the ordering/ requesting of spares and building materials for their shift and the checking of invoices, in liaison with the Purchasing Department for them.
To adhere to the Company's rules and regulations.
To be as flexible as possible and carry out any other duties within the department which may be required.
