Shipping & Logistics Supervisor
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, the Shipping & Logistics supervisor manages the shipping area and is accountable for ensuring OTD & quality in the material shipped. He/she works directly with the warehouse team to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality in the shipments & logistics. The Shipping & Logistics supervisor must be a hands-on person with warehouse management experience in a labor-intensive operation and with a proven ability to engage and mentor people.
Key Requirements
· 3-5 years of relevant work experience, including hands-on experience supervising people in a labor-intensive operation
· Strong soft skills and high EQ
· Proven ability to meet operating pressures/deadlines while maintaining a positive work environment and exemplary customer service
· Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
· Exposure/knowledge to world-class employee engagement and retention practice
· Team player with very good interpersonal and communication skills
Rol:
- Directly manages shipping team and drives operating results (RMA, turnover, delivery and Inventory accuracy) while retaining high employee engagement.
· Plans and directs daily shipping activities.
· Has a strong working knowledge & management of shipping & logistics operations, including:
1. Ensuring the shipment of finished goods within 24 hours.
2. Tracking and analyzing material shipments to ensure they arrive in a timely manner.
3. Maintaining direct communication with carriers to ensure shipping and pickup windows.
4. Ensuring the quality of shipments, avoiding product damage.
5. Developing material pickup routes to save on freight costs.
· Balances resources to meet service commitment to customers.
· Has time management skills and can delegate.

· Work with EHS department to maintain safety standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
RMA:
· Ensure management of the materials according to quality standards before sending them to our customers.
· Communication on a daily basis with the team about the main offenders of damaged materials and establishing actions to eliminate them.
DELIVERY:
· Drive the team to ensure complete shipment of materials in less than 24 hrs.
· Communicates directly with the Import/Export department to ensure the collection of materials at the border &/or in suppliers' facilities and their timely arrival at the plant.
TURNOVER:
· Assure feedback to the whole team to have less than 1.6% of turnover monthly.
· Ensure a healthy work environment based on the values and foundations of the company.
· Monitoring safe handling of materials and working with EHS to have a plan of management of workload.
