We are seeking an experienced and results-drive Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize ourlogistics operations within the automotive interior parts sector. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, transportation, and warehouse operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with production schedules and customer requirements.
Manage the flow of materials from suppliers to production and from production to customers.
Coordinate with procurement, production, quality and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, space utilization, and safety compliance.
Optimize transportation routes and negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics service providers.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customs requirements, and environmental standars.
Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team though training, coaching and performance management.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP, CLTD) is highly desirable.
Experience:
8+ years in the in the automotive industry, with at least 3 years in a similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of automotive interior components and all MP&L operational areas.
Solid understanding of international trade, customs regulations and incoterms.
Experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
