A Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing all transportation services provided by the hotel, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests and team members, while optimizing logistics operations, evaluating performance, and aligning staffing with service demands.
What will I be doing?
As a Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for managing all hotel-related transportation services to deliver a seamless and excellent experience to guests and internal clients. You will also be expected to optimize scheduling, maintain safety standards, and ensure operational efficiency. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Oversee daily transportation operations, guest shuttles, and internal logistics
Ensure exceptional service levels and timely coordination of transportation services
Evaluate guest satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback
Monitor fleet condition, cleanliness, and maintenance to ensure safety and compliance
Optimize route planning, fuel usage, and operational costs
Maintain strong communication with hotel departments, guests, and third-party transport providers
Ensure staffing levels are aligned with business needs
Provide ongoing training and development for transportation staff
Conduct regular team meetings and follow up with action plans
Address performance concerns in line with company policies and procedures
Recruit, lead, and support the professional growth of the transportation team
Ensure full compliance with hotel policies, traffic regulations, and health and safety standards
