Descripción
A global leader in wireless and cloud technologies is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join its high-performing team at a state-of-the-art design center in the Santa Fe area of Tijuana. In this role, you will help drive innovation in edge cloud software for cellular network automation and optimization, supporting some of the world's top-tier telecom operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, and validate high-performance and scalable backend software systems.
- Implement complex algorithms to solve network automation challenges.
- Collaborate with a talented group of engineers on the Edgewise platform.
- Work in a cross-functional team to troubleshoot and optimize cloud edge solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in backend software development using Java.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in designing and implementing advanced Java-based algorithms and architectures.
- Experience with microservices architecture and big data applications using advanced SQL.
- Familiarity with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with Vertica or other column-oriented databases.
- Understanding of Clean Code principles, SOLID, and high-quality engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Kubernetes.
- Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to building optimization and analytics modules is a plus.
