We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Learning Design and Innovation Manager.
Role Purpose:
A trusted Learning Design Manager and Learning SME who partners with Learning Relationship Managers and Key Business Stakeholders to play a key role in creating and executing effective learning strategies, ensuring that training and development programs drive the Learning agenda to meet business goals. Integrating regional strategy and local requirements. Anticipates people challenges and support diverse individuals and teams.

Knowledge & Experience:
• A bachelor degree in HR/Psychology/Organisational Development and/or business disciplines
• A minimum of 5+ years HR experience with focus on talent and development
• Instructional Design Knowledge. Have a solid understanding of instructional design principles and theories, as well as best practices in the field.
• Educational Technology Expertise. Be familiar with the tools and technological platforms used in developing learning materials.
• Experience of working in a large organisation, ideally international
• Experienced project management and coordinating delivery through others
• Experience of working with third party suppliers
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Role Purpose:

Principal Accountabilities:
- Have a solid understanding of instructional design and be able to guide and create effective learning programs and materials. This includes structuring content, identifying pedagogical goals, selecting the most appropriate strategies and methodologies, and implementing educational technology when relevant.
- Plan, organize and supervise the design and development projects of learning programs and resources, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Assess the effectiveness and impact of learning programs using relevant metrics and analysis.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in the field of learning design and seek opportunities to enhance the processes and methods used.
- Support for the different business lines and Global Learning Academies, designing and developing the Annual Learning Plan for the country.
- Support the senior Learning team in interpreting analytics, business and economic trends to help in decision making and learning interventions.
- Support committee requirements and audit reports.
- Support the senior Learning team by working within a business and Learning Academies, by understanding learning needs and designing training interventions to address gaps in skills.
- Annual Training plan design and follow up. Coordinate within the vendors to design and fulfill the learning plan align within the budget.
- Work with regional teams to develop key initiatives to achieve Business & Functions goals.
- Develop vendors and solutions locally.
- Ensure that learning interventions are in line with any rules or regulations applicable for the country.
- Keep abreast of developments in the field of Learning and Development with a view to applying best practice in HSBC.
- Ensure relationships with external vendors and monitor quality, ensuring Service Level Agreements are being adhered to, by working with Learning Operations team.
