We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Integration Developer (Technical Lead) for a long-term contract opportunity. This role will play a key part in designing, building, and supporting Workday integrations across multiple modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and support of Workday integrations using EIB, Studio, Cloud Connect, Document Transformation, and RaaS.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration and business process configuration issues in Workday.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define integration specifications, and drive implementation.
Own integration testing: create test scenarios, document results, and coordinate with business and vendor teams.
Ensure best practices in integration development and deployment within CI/CD environments.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers or contractors.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in information technology, software development, or engineering.
5+ years of experience with Workday integration development (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting).
2+ years of experience in a technical lead or equivalent leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of Workday tools including EIB, Studio, Document Transformation, RaaS, and Cloud Connect.
Proficiency in Workday reporting, business process configuration, and issue resolution.
Deep understanding of Web Services: SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday implementations.
Familiarity with DevOps environments, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
Strong communication and documentation skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
