Our customer
A global freight forwarder that provides comprehensive logistics solutions. With over 150 locations worldwide, including in Asia, Europe, and North America, offering a range of services such as air and sea freight, ground distribution, customs clearance, warehouse management, and cold chain logistic.
Job Purpose
A Logistics Coordinator Specialist manages inquiries, tracks and traces shipments, and resolves issues. They ensure timely updates on shipments, troubleshoot service disruptions, communicate any delays, and contact carriers. Additionally, they resolve problems and ensure a smooth and efficient logistics experience.
Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Daily tracking and tracing of shipments according to defined priorities
* Following up with carriers and agents when required
* Updating tracking information in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
* Assisting in troubleshooting cargo delays
Education
High School diploma or Bachelors degree
Full Bilingual
Skills
Hard Skills:
Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., CargoWise) and parcel systems (e.g., UPS, USPS, Ship Station).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Soft Skills:
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
