What you'll be doing
This position is responsible for handling of the documentation preparation, monitoring and coordinating of customs release of freight for the import of commercial goods into United States and Mexico in accordance with the Customs Regulations.
You will be responsible for…
- To provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import/export documentation.
- Facilitate set up of Mexican IOR file with Buckland MX broker Portfolio Partnership.
- Integrate Legal MX files on IOR and update forms in compliance on Mexican regulations early on calendar year.
- Coordinate shipments for customs clearance on timely fashion and ensure process flow based on best practices per shipment by Land
- Communicate, delegate and expedite shipment clearance through multiple ports with Buckland MX Vendors in accordance on client's priorities and instructions.
- Assist on Compliance and monitor operations per types: V1, RT, F4, A3 and other as requested.
- Preparation of customs and internal documents for customs clearance.
- Coordinate daily tasks in an efficient manner; prioritize activities and define urgent process reviews for Warehouse and office improvement.
- Completion of mid to high volume shipment clearance Land and air on different Mexican Ports of entry/outcome.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports based on shipment status for Air, Land shipments.
- Assess customs operation performance for MX Vendors.
- Provide information requested for Mexican Trade compliance.
What we need from you
- International Business/International commerce/International Logistics Bachelor Degree.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to generate and follow up on sales leads
- Ability to identify, develop and implement processes improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated problem solving, organization skills with attention to detail
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
What skills & experience you'll bring to us
- 5 Year experience with Mexican Import/Exports Operations.
- Basic knowledge on Mexican Legislation in Foreign Trade Business
- Customs experiences is an asset
- English language Skills at 80%·Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel skills, Windows, an asset.
