We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test (SET) sometimes referred to as (SDET, SQA, QA, QE, or Automation Tester) to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. This is a senior-level position.

The SET responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

The SET role plays an important part in our company's product development process. Our ideal candidate will be a champion of quality responsible for conducting tests during product development and before product release to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-  Create/Run/Maintain Test Automation 

-  Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in assigned software applications

-  Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and training.

-  Conduct code reviews and assure adherence to software coding standards

-  Implement well suited test patterns and mentor other test engineers in their use

-  Improve operations by conducting system analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures

-  Contribute to software testing standards

-  Contribute to testing tools

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

-   Expert at:

    -  Creating Test Plans

   -  Manual Testing

   -  Whitebox Testing

   -  Writing Test Cases 

    -  Service layer automation and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, etc.)

   -  UI automation testing and tools (e.g., FlaUI, Playwright, etc.) 

    -  Logging, tracking, troubleshooting, and duplicating defects/bugs

   -  Software Quality Assurance processes and best practices

-   Advanced level:

    -  Build tools and CI/CD pipelines

   -  Development Best Practices such as Clean Code and SOLID principles

   -  C# (must have), Python and/or JavaScript (desired)

   -  Knowledge of industry standards concerning SDLC (e.g., Agile, TDD, BDD, DDD, Scrum, etc.)

   -  Leading projects

   -  Confluence & Jira

   -  SQL

   -  Visual Studio

-   Intermediate level:

    -  Git

   -  MS Office

   -  A Unit Testing framework (e.g., Jest, NUnit, MSTest, etc.) 

   -  Visual Studio Code

   -  React

-   Some Experience with

    -  AWS/Azure

   -  Being the Subject Matter Expert on software under test

   -  A Performance testing tool (e.g., JMeter, K6, Gatling, etc.)

   -  Docker or another containerization solution

   -  vSphere

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

-  3 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree.

-  Exposure to a wide variety of test architectures and design patterns and their practical application
