Actual job responsibilities/tasks:

• Your responsibilities would be to design, implement, test, and deliver world class features using cutting edge technologies.
• Fast learner - be exposed to various Oracle products we interface with, such as Oracle Jet, databases, data-warehouse tools, data visualizations.
• Gain in-depth knowledge in the areas of performance, networking, clustering, and cloud and internet-enabled application infrastructure problems (security, caching, stability, scalability, high availability, and accessibility).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree level (BS/MS/PhD): BS/MS
• Major(s): Computer Engineering or Science (or equivalent)
• Programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java
• jQuery, Knockout, Nodejs, Oracle JET
• Preferred coursework: Object Oriented programming, Data Structures, Algorithms
• Programming, Testing, OS (Microsoft, Unix/Linux)

Other qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn new technology, and easily adaptable to changes.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
