Job Description

Applications Technology Group provides the foundation for whole of Oracle E-Business Suite. It is the team which develops and maintains components like Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) for UI Development, Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) for webservice enablement, Life Cycle Management (LCM) products like Applications Management Pack (AMP) for managing enterprise applications etc.

We are looking for hands-on Java & PLSQL professionals with 5+ years of large & complex software development lifecycle experience. Following are the required skillsets.

Core Skills:

Must have:

• Excellent knowledge of Java, J2EE
• Excellent coding, debugging skills in Java, J2EE
• Working knowledge in SQL and PLSQL
• Proficient in database designing and development using Oracle Databases

Good to have:

• Thorough knowledge in RDBMS & PLSQL programming
• Experience in Database performance tuning
• Understanding of Webservices standards, e.g. SOAP, WS Policies, JCA, etc.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written & verbal communication, Interpersonal Skills to work in a global team

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
