We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Onboarding Manager to join our finance team. The Onboarding Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Will also oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring timely setup, clear communication, and a high-quality service experience from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze the Chart of Account
Initial coding and reconciliation of transactions prior to handoff to the Accounting Team.
Review initial transactions and financial reports for completeness and accuracy.
Create journal entries and adjustments
Depreciation/Amortization entries
Identify and document assets during the onboarding phase.
Set up clients in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Collect and organize documentation and credentials required for onboarding's set up
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
Experience with Chart of Accounts and Journal Entries
Exposure to USA accounting is an asset but not required
Experience in accounting software, QBO is an asset but is not required
Strong understanding of MS office
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
