Project Leader automobile stamping:
POSITION PURPOSE:
· This position is responsible for planning, executing, and closing stamping-related projects, including tooling, process design & product launches.
· Ensure that stamping projects are delivered on time, within budget & quality standars.
Coordinates cross-functional teams and serves as the primary interfce between internal departments, suppliers & customers.
DAILY ACTIVITIES:
· Organize & chair project meetings, including APQP and launch readliness reviews.
Resolve project bottlenecks and facilitate issue resolution across departments.
· Communicate projects status, risks & actions plans.
Monitor project costs and work to reduce tool and process costs.
PERIODICAL ACTIVITIES:
· Lead teams including engineering, quality, production & logistics.
· Manage engineering change requests and customer feedback.
· dentify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
· Ensure adhrence to budget and project profitability targets.
· Prepare projects reports, dashboards & presentations for internal and customer reviews.
Maintain all documentation for traceability and future reference (timelines, minutes, plans).
JOB PROFILE:
Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive or related technicial field.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Strong understanding of stamping processes, die design & automotive manufacturing.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
· Knowledge of APQP, PPAP,FMEA and control plans.
· Project planning tools (MS project, Gantt charts).
· Understanding of stamping operations, tooling lifecycle and automotive standars.
Strong financial acumen to manage project costs and ROI.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Office & manufacturing environment; frequent time spent on shop floor.
Occasional travel to customer sites, suppliers, or tool shops.
AUTHORITIES:
· Ensure stamping projects meet customer and regulatory requirements (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
Support the implementation of control plans, FMEA, PPAP submissions and quality audits.
