Overall responsibility

Supports business processes by successfully launching Production and Quality projects and small orders within the Application Center Engineering, Production & Quality

Key areas of responsibility

• Final responsibility for successfully launching new Production projects globally, while focusing on IT standards, business satisfaction and operational excellence. Small order tracking and follow-up is required to insure ZF standards are adhered to, with special focus placed on training/ communication and user experience across all projects.
• Work with project management to ensure the project scope, deliverables, timing and cost targets are achieved, as well as successfully managing and mitigating launch project issues and risks.
• Lead temporary launch teams to meet project objectives.
• Enable and actively contribute to both the I4.0 and digitization strategies by launching new platforms and installations
• Work in partnership with the business partners, P&Q Development team, the WIO and local non-IT support groups to launch operational services for Production and Quality Systems and Platforms.
• Additional expertise required to support Pre-Launch analysis, such as I4.0/ Cloud services/ digitization projects with a focus on future technological trends and impacts.
• Drive programs and roadmaps to support business change e.g. new production facilities and new placement of production activities
• Establishes effective and efficient processes to deliver IT services to the business requirements, leveraging global structures, shared services and strategic partnerships
• Ensure compliance in area of responsibility, especially concerning software license management; Also responsible for financial planning for area of responsibility

• IT Solutions Analysts ; Service Mgmt; Project Managers;
• Divisional & Functional IT BRMs; Local and global Infrastructure teams
• Internal and external business partners as well as vendors
• Business experts; Finance and Logistics FC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering is required
• Solid working knowledge of information systems required, digitalization trends (IOT, Cloud tech, etc), with experience in automotive manufacturing and/or quality systems highly preferred
• Experience with MES systems (working experience with iTAC MES is preferred)
• Work experience as a launch manager, project/ program manager is preferred
• A demonstrated ability for managing large/ complex projects preferred
• Critical thinking, communication, and research skills
• Minimum 4 years professional Engineering (IT/Automatization) experience preferred in Automotive Industry
• English speaking and writing skills
