Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Supply Chain Software Development Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of supply chain software solutions. You will lead a team of software developers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products that optimize and streamline the supply chain processes. Your expertise in software development, supply chain management, and team leadership will be essential for driving innovation and achieving business objectives with following responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define the technical vision and roadmap for the supply chain software solutions, aligning it with the overall business strategy and goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents.
- Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

2. Software Development:
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, robust, and efficient software solutions for supply chain management.
- Collaborate with the development team to code, test, and debug software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Manage the integration of software components, to create seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software functionality, performance, and scalability.

3. Project Management and Collaboration:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create project plans and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of software projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain operations, business analysts, and quality assurance, to gather requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and discussions to provide technical expertise and contribute to strategic decision-making.

4. Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct regular assessments of the existing supply chain software applications, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Propose and implement enhancements to increase the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the software solutions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and performance of the software applications.
- Collaborate with the operations team to gather user feedback and incorporate it into future software iterations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proven experience as a technical lead or similar role in software development with knowledge of development methodologies, preferably in the supply chain.
Proficiency in database management, and programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JSON.
Excellent leadership, project management skills, and problem-solving and analytical abilities

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Supply Chain expertise (Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, etc.)
Data Science, and Machine Learning knowledge
