HR Generalist
Description:
Provides comprehensive HR leadership to Business Units with employee populations ranging from 500 to 800 employees. Acts as business partner to BU Managers as well as Manufacturing Leaders and his/her leadership team. Ensure compliance of all company policies/ procedures and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, performance management, labor relations, benefits, rewards, professional growth & technical training, communication, integration activities and employee services.
Principal Responsabilities:
- Administer company´s policies/procedures and design HR practices that balance the needs of the company's business objectives with the needs of employees. Collaborate with HR & BU Managers to ensure consistency & quality of the HR initiatives. Ensure that HR practices and policies comply with government regulations.
- Provide leadership and technical direction to assure that HR is viewed as an excellent source of problem resolution, teamwork support and fairness/diversity
- Manage labor relations/employee relations for the Business Units. Handle contract administration and labor negotiations strategy/preparation.
- Coordinate and ensuring the hiring processes for all salaried and hourly positions.
- Guide and direct performance management process for all employees.
- Ensure develop and coordinate training efforts for all employees that meet the changing skill or cultural needs of the facility.
- Facilitate the plant's communication strategies to ensure that employees are knowledgeable and supportive of plant goals and objectives as well as integration activities for all employees and their family.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in specific HR areas such as wage and salary, payroll, labor law, employment practices, training & comp.
- Understanding of applicable labor, tax, social security & housing fund laws.
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
- HRMS experience preferred.
- Experience with high-volume recruiting.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires, issues or complaints.
- Influencing & Negotiating Skills.
- Ability and skill to building up the relationship with Union.
- Fluent in English
