Key Responsibilities:

• Set and drive the regional technology vision for data-related platforms and solutions
• Design integrated, scalable, and future-ready tech architectures
• Lead cross-functional teams specializing in data engineering, platforms, product development, and data visualization
• Align technical execution with broader data strategies to ensure meaningful business outcomes
• Cultivate a high-impact engineering culture centered on innovation, performance, and collaboration
• Mentor senior-level engineers and support the growth of a strong, capable tech team
• Create strategic roadmaps to guide the platform's growth and ensure long-term scalability
• Ensure architectural consistency with both global and regional technology frameworks

What we're looking for:

• Extensive experience in cloud-native architecture, ideally with GCP
• Profound knowledge of data platforms, APIs, and scaling products
• Proven experience in leading large, cross-functional, and multi-regional tech teams
• Expertise in managing and delivering large-scale products successfully
• A business-focused mindset paired with a solid technical background
• Strong communication, influence, and leadership abilities, particularly in developing teams
• A long-term strategic outlook, with the capability to lead through complexity and uncertainty
• Strong organizational influence and negotiation skills
• A blend of business acumen and technical expertise

?Years of experience required:

9+ years in technology leadership, with at least 5 years leading data or platform product teams

Tools & Technologies:

• GCP: broad knowledge across BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub
• Architecture tools: drawio, Lucidchart, ArchiMate
• DevOps and CI/CD tools (Git, Terraform, Cloud Build)
• Data platform components (data lakehouse, streaming, APIs)

Technical knowledge / certifications:

• GCP Architect or equivalent technical certification (strongly preferred)
• Deep architectural understanding of cloud platforms and microservices
• Experience with platform lifecycle management, versioning, and scale
• Strategic roadmap planning, vendor integration, and team scaling
