Strategic Program Manager - Reynosa Tamaulipas
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Program Manager to oversee the performance of all contract fulfillment activities within a specific group of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance and supervising various areas, including procurement, customer relationship management, tracking, expansion of sales, development of materials, auditing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and organize conferences and meetings to set work strategies, scope, and goals for program implementation
- Negotiate daily material supply with clients and ensure metric achievement
- Select, hire, train, and supervise personnel to support client needs
- Prepare and present metric reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Site Managers to establish cost-saving ideas and strategies
- Audit and ensure price compliance with contracts
- Supervise daily processes to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Participate in supplier negotiation and establishment
- Develop and present operational and profitability reports to Operations Management
- Identify training needs and support quality system implementation (e.g., ISO 9000)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, MRO material tracking, cost-saving projects, and logistics in the metalworking industry
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Experience with indirect/MRO suppliers and statistical analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AS400
- Fluent in English for business conversations
- Customer service orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
