• A solid background with over 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong experience in automotive, particularly with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and assembly processes.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems management and IATF requirements; IATF certification is required.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, CP, FMEA, Q1, and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred).
• A proven ability to effectively reduce scrap rates and customer rejects to improve production efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience with the 8D problem-solving methodology.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with process improvement tools, including QRQC.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, focus on continuous improvement, and commitment to KAIZEN culture.
• Experience in lab metrology, GD&T, and supplier quality management.
Responsibilities:
Quality System:
• Develop and implement quality management systems that comply with IATF standards.
• Conduct supplier quality assessments and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Stay updated on quality standards and customer specifications.
PPAP and APQP system:
• Oversee the PPAP and APQP processes to ensure product compliance and quality for our customers.
• Responsible for conducting systemic analyses of warranty claims (TF) and ensuring effective cost management.
Problem Solving:
• Conduct quality audits and manage corrective actions using methodologies such as the 8D approach.
• Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Apply Lean techniques to detect, stop, and eliminate waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and improve product quality.
Quality Lab:
• Understanding CMM and various metrology equipment for evaluating product specifications and tolerances.
• Measurement instruments: transfer, selection, and budget control for costs.
• Manage the inspection and testing procedures for materials, components, and products.
