We are currently seeking a Customer Service Sales Coordinator to support a temporary project at a global manufacturing company. This role is essential to maintaining seamless communication with customers and ensuring timely and accurate order processing, scheduling, and logistics coordination.
About the Role:
As a Customer Service Sales Coordinator, you will serve as a key point of contact between the customer and various internal departments. You will handle day-to-day customer inquiries, process orders, and collaborate with logistics and production to ensure successful and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone and email related to orders, shipments, product availability, pricing, and invoicing.
- Enter and update customer orders in the system, including any schedule changes.
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and external providers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve shipping issues.
- Monitor and maintain order schedules for long-lead-time products (if applicable).
- Assist with accurate invoicing and documentation when required.
- Provide internal support to departments such as Engineering, Credit & Collections, and Finance.
You'll Work Closely With:
Internal:
- Logistics, Production Planners, Customer Service Supervisor, Warehouses, and Purchasing teams on a daily basis.
- Plant Managers, M&T, and Finance on an as-needed basis.
External:
- Customers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners daily to track shipments and answer inquiries.
- Tollers and external warehouses as needed to support order execution.
Requirements:
- Associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, logistics coordination, or sales support in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
