?Position Objective:
Serve as the primary support for plant management to effectively manage and control the local business and be responsible at the plant level for general accounting, cost accounting, bill of materials, financial analysis, reporting, and projections, including inventory accuracy and mastery of the export tax and tariff schedule. Maintain close communication with corporate finance staff.

Experience:
Word, Excel, Contpaq.
8 years as General Manager. Interpretation of financial data and reports, development of institutional response processes, effective response capacity, problem-solving, leadership, proficiency in a second language (English).
Plus: have been worked out in Foundry industry
Basic Knoledge:
Administrative management methods.
Strong knowledge of accounting, COMPAQ or SAE, Tax Miscellanea, Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Income Tax Law, IMSS, and INFONAVIT.
Main Responsabilites:
- Prepare the monthly financial report.
- Prepare the quarterly financial report for shareholders.
- Review material and consumables expense reports to issue corrective actions for those that exceed targets.
- Conduct periodic meetings with supervisors to analyze the results of the purchasing programs.
- Be proactive with the different areas of the plant to ensure good communication and resolve any issues that arise in the administrative area.
- Support the implementation of improvement programs for the company and other departments involving purchasing and accounting personnel, such as Safety, Lean Manufacturing, ISO, 5's, Special Projects, and any other applicable departments.
- Prepare and adhere to the administrative expense budget.
- Analyze and accurately communicate the current month's financial results to plant and company management.
- Present all financial transactions, transmissions, and reports in a timely and accurate manner, as well as international and foreign trade transactions, in compliance with legal guidelines and standards.
- Manage and control petty cash and checkbook expenditures in compliance with corporate and plant guidelines.
- Make accounting adjustments and provisions.
- Analyze plant results to prepare a financial situation assessment.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and/or annual expenditure reports and analyze them against the budget.
- Control and execute payments to suppliers from all areas of the plant, as well as tax obligations at all levels of government, social security, Infonavit, and Fonacot.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory cycle audits and explain physical accounting adjustments.
- Conduct plant tours with the production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to analyze production and cost issues. Review labor reports and costs, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution costs, and inventory levels.
- Monitor, control, and communicate the expenditure status of each plant department to avoid overdrafts outside of budget. 4.18 Comply with tax collection guidelines at all levels of government (municipal, state, and federal).
- Determine deferred taxes and calculate monthly income tax.
- Calculate and control tax depreciation, as well as submit annual returns and tax refund requests.
- Maintain and promote a safe work environment by maintaining the company's safety program, aligning financial strategies with safety standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Determine cost analyses and financial projections.
