Currently, we are looking for a Restaurant Manager for our San Diego, California location with the following experience:
Lead and manage the comprehensive operation of the assigned unit, ensuring compliance with standards of quality, customer service, profitability, and organizational goals through effective supervision, team development, and implementation of operational strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant (service, kitchen, housekeeping, and general environment).
• Ensure compliance with quality, presentation, and customer service standards.
• Coordinate and supervise the opening, operation and closing of assigned shifts.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience by addressing complaints or suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor the achievement of sales objectives, productivity levels and cost control (waste, supplies and personnel).
• Report relevant customer issues to the General Manager.
• Manage supply inventory and submit timely requests.
• Support in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
• Resolve conflicts between team members and/or customers effectively.
• Implement strategies to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets.
• Increase the influx of the restaurant, as well as the average check, maintaining an adequate stay on the part of our client.
• Carry out ac selling practices.
• Carry out the procedures and processes defined by the operations area of Grupo Hunan.
• Act as General Manager during your absence and assist with administrative responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Administration, Tourism, Hotel Management, Gastronomy or similar.
• Courses or certifications in Restaurant Management or Leadership.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position within the restaurant or hospitality industry (preferably haute cuisine).
• Proven experience in team leadership and budget management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and lead high-performance teams.
• Customer service orientation with high service standards.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems and operational management tools. • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
