This role is for one of Honeywell's sites in Chihuahua, Ch.
You will be responsible for providing strategic direction and operational leadership within the site. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, foster collaborative relationships, and drive the implementation of business strategies to achieve objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Chihuahua's operations, ensuring the achievement of business objectives and targets.
Deliver the safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity for site to ensure customer satisfaction and enable growth in a challenging start up environment.
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability with urgency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers and government agencies. Able to lead within a cross-functional organization and articulate production escalations.
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of managers and employees. Direct hands-on/tactical support, including floor presence and consistent availability.
Drive a results-oriented culture within the plant, setting clear performance metrics and ensuring accountability at all levels.
Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet production targets and financial objectives.
Promote Honeywell behaviors such as data-driven decision-making, customer focus, and innovation in all aspects of plant operations.
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar scope role.
Strong experience working in a High-Mix/Low-Volume manufacturing environment.
Experience in metal-mechanical operations (Sheet Metal fabrication, machining, painting, assembly)
Lean transformation experience and understanding of lean principles with a proven track record of changing culture and getting results with process simplification.
Proven track record of successfully managing site operations and greenfield projects.
Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve targets.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and employees.
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).
Financial acumen.
Additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
