Shift Supervisor Operations

Job Objective:

Lead and supervise the operational activities during the assigned shift, ensuring the achievement of production goals, complice with safety and quality standars, and effective cordination of personnel, resources and equipment in accordance with automotive industry requirements

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the production lines during the assigned shift
• Ensure compliance with the production schedule and resolve any delays or issues that may impact output
• Supervise and coordinate shift personnel and quality standards (IATF 16949, CSR´s, Etc)
• Monitor shift performance indicators (OEE, scrap, rate) and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Act as the point of contact for quality, maintenance, engineering or logistics issues during the shift
• Support training and development of line operators and team leaders
• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Manage the second shift

Skills:

• 2 years of experience in leadership, operations lines
• Bachelor´s degree
• Knowledge in APQP
• Conflict resolution and decision-making under pressure
• Communication across departments
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge in quality and engineering
• Knowledge in IATF 16949
• Proficient in excel (pivot tables, data analysis) and general IT tools
• Effective communication skills
