Major Banking Company is looking for Jira Analyst
Job Summary: The Jira Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the use of Jira, a project management and issue tracking tool, within the organization. This role requires technical expertise in Jira as well as a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate these processes into effective configurations within the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Jira Administration:
- Configure, maintain, and administer Jira instances, including projects, workflows, custom fields, and permissions.
- Manage the integration of Jira with other business tools and systems.
- Perform updates and adjustments to Jira configurations as needed.
- Support and Training:
- Provide technical and functional support to Jira users, addressing queries and resolving issues.
- Create and maintain documentation on procedures, best practices, and user guides.
- Train new users and conduct training sessions on effective use of Jira.
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze business processes and existing workflows to identify opportunities for improvement in Jira.
- Implement changes in workflows and configurations to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure Jira configurations align with business objectives.
- Data Analysis:
- Generate customized reports and dashboards to monitor project performance and issue progress.
- Analyze Jira data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project teams to define requirements and ensure Jira is configured to support project goals.
- Facilitate the implementation of agile methodologies and frameworks in Jira, such as Scrum and Kanban.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: Previous experience in Jira administration or similar project management tools. Experience in roles involving data analysis and process optimization is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Jira, including configuration, administration, and customization.
- Experience with Jira add-ons and related tools.
- Ability to integrate Jira with other platforms and tools.
- Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports.
- Proactive problem identification and resolution skills.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and train various user groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
