This role provides project leadership and supply chain support within the Engineering team. The incumbent will provide engineering leadership and support for a wide range of strategic engineering projects and initiatives in support of our manufacturing facilities. This individual is recognized as having strong project management skills, technical thinking and problem-solving skills, a vision to improve our manufacturing processes and equipment, and the ability to translate that vision intto executable projects. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities and risks with our current team and translating these into long-term capital team plans for future capital investments that they can assess and lead. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing specifications on new equipment and machines to ensure they meet requirements, as well as driving better standardization across the company. The role reports to the Manager of the Global Strategic Engineering Team and receives direction in the form of broad goals of projects and initiatives.

• Scope and leadership of capital projects

• Provides leadership and collaboration within a cross-functional team during project scoping and execution.

• Manages the operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects.

• Manages scope and mitigates risk on all projects.

• Effectively achieves results that meet business and individual goals.

• Establishes standards for processes and equipment.

• Benchmarking current processes and equipment to determine overall OEE, bottlenecks, and identify strategy for continuous improvement and future investment.

• Applies statistical analysis techniques to quantify the current capabilities of the process.

• Manages multiple external partners (ie engineering service providers, equipment vendors, etc.)
