The Procurement Analytics Specialist is responsible to solve procurement challenges through data analysis, data visualization, business intelligence, automation, innovation, and process optimization. The Procurement Analytics Specialist works as an individual contributor, facilitates KPI Performance monitoring and management across procurement. Act as a mentor to other junior team members in procurement analytics.
This role requires experience in analyzing indirect procurement problems and business processes and providing actionable insights via highly efficient dashboards and data-driven analytics. Works closely with cross functional indirect procurement leads across businesses in translating functional problems into analytical solutions. This role will closely participate in strategic enterprise-level indirect procurement programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, and analyze indirect procurement processes, operational measures, key performance indicators (KPIs) and other related areas.
• Translate business requirements / problem statements into analytical solutions.
• Develop user-friendly data visualization products that drive performance monitoring and KPI management across indirect procurement.
• Utilize Analytical and Business Intelligence technical expertise to carry out multiple analytical projects across different data platforms and domains.
• Partner with our data engineering and technology groups to optimize necessary data flows and required data transformation to achieve high performance visualization products.
• Drive analytics-adoption through connecting with global stakeholders to identify actionable business opportunities that drive value using our analytical tools.
• Accountable for working with global partners in driving indirect procurement transformation using our dynamic dashboards/visualizations, and data analytics that address operational hurdles and process automation/optimization
• Arrange the data to tell a story to our stakeholders and present it in a way that both technical and non-technical audiences can understand. Express ideas clearly, concisely in understandable form, both orally and in writing
• Utilize data modeling and simulation to drive indirect procurement efficiencies and enable change management that drives down costs.
• Continually assess/propose alternative data-driven analytical solutions / models to deliver value and make recommendations.
• Attract, coach and mentor junior analysts, leading by example through acting as a technical individual contributor.

YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field
• 2+ years' experience in analytics and advanced visualizations using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau
• 2+ years of experience in SQL - Solid ability to query data from proper sources from named spaces, data marts, and/or normalized views, using SQL or an ETL software (e.g. Tableau Prep)
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis - Solid ability to create dynamic dashboards taking advantage of aggregations, proper formatting and utilizing different tools
• Solid ability to develop reporting portals and host multiple web-based dashboards
• Excellent analytical skills to analyze, explain, and draw logical conclusions from operational and financial data and present findings in a simple manner
• 3+ years' experience in procurement operations
• Good knowledge of statistics (e.g. distributions, correlations)
