Who We're Looking For?
We're seeking the highest caliber software developers, with:
• A strong background in computing and excellent analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High potential to learn and adapt quickly.
• The ability to optimize solutions to difficult problems.
• A strong motivation to excel!
• Bachelors in a Computer Science related discipline from a premier institution. Masters, a plus.
• Sound knowledge of CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, etc. Machine learning, a plus.
• Experience with languages like C, C++, SQL, PL-SQL, Python, Go, Perl, Shell.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration commands.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies, a plus.
What Will You Do?
As a member of this team, you will work with a multitude of the best and brightest minds coming out of top schools, such as yourself. You will gain in-depth knowledge about high-visibility, revenue generating products such as the Oracle Autonomous Cloud. You will be responsible for upholding the quality of our products by reviewing functional and design specifications, outlining test specifications, and executing the development of test automation. You will have the opportunity to learn about the newest industry trends and technologies, and you will take a critical role in shaping these trends and technologies.
In addition, you will become adept in designing and developing large-scale, high-impact, end-to-end automation tools and processes to address real problems for an organization of thousands of engineers. You will explore, learn, and apply industry leading technologies, such as predictive algorithms.
You will exercise various skill sets - apply technical expertise to create elegant solutions, project manage to deliver, market and promote to gain acceptance, and extend to ensure longevity. You will fluidly communicate and work with a variety of external teams such as release management, product management, support engineering, etc.
You will become an expert problem solver, proactively identifying effective and efficient solutions to real problems.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
